I agree with every one. I would like to throw our hat into the ring. The JACK on 4823 W. National is my bar and we have only been open for 2 years, but our burger belongs on that list also. The burger are awesome. Fresh off the flat top. I hear they grind their own beef and it's never frozen. Simple and delicious, like a good buger should be. They have Cheese Steaks of course, but I got a burger once, and I'll never get a Cheese Steak again. The burger was tremendous. No wonder its named The City's Best Burger (even listed that way on the menu!) I went once and was disappointed with the dryness of the patty, but only 1 bad burger in the dozen or so I've had there. There is no burger that can compare. Years ago, before going to the airport to take our children on a Disney cruise, we stopped at Solly's for lunch. After returning from a wonderful, fun 10 days at Disney World and the cruise, we asked our kids what their favorite part of the vacation was. They both agreed that it was eating at Solly's. Obviously, we could have saved a big chunk of money. Solly's is also the first stop when relatives come from out of town. Do NOT ask for easy on the butter. Butter is what makes the burger. Yum!
